An action-packed first day of the January 12-Week Cookery Course. 🌅🍞
Our 66 students from 15 nationalities 🌍 started bright and early at 6am in the #BallymaloeBreadShed.
After the welcome breakfast, they got stuck into transplanting Little Gem salad plants 🥬, meeting the pigs 🐖, cows 🐄, and chickens 🐓, and touring the farm with Darina Allen. 🚜
After lunch with Rachel Allen🍴, they finished the day with Rory O’Connell, learning what they’ll be cooking tomorrow morning.👩🍳👨🍳Edited · 10h

Serves 1|Takes 10 minutes
INGREDIENTS:
30g Flahavan’s oats
150mls whole milk
Papaya
Strawberries
Raspberries
Nuts
METHOD:
For the porridge:
Stir 30g of Flahavan’s Porridge Oats into 150mls of milk. Bring to a boil and simmer for 3 minutes stirring continuously
For the toppings:
Crushed raspberries: Tumble 100g of raspberries into a bowl.Add a teaspoon of sugar or drizzle of honey and mash together with a fork.
Healthy Banana Split for Toddlers 🍌👶🏻 I honestly cannot tell you enough how delicious this recipe turned out! The only sweetener is one heaped teaspoon of dark chocolate and the rest is fruit and Greek yogurt. You can also swap out the chocolate for a homemade chia jam, but for me a little chocolate is good for the soul.
